I had a fantastic time yesterday in Des Moines for the Iowa Author Fest. I made friends with some amazing authors, learned about new books that I just HAD to add to my already looooong TBR pile, and met really great readers who had come for the event. I was thankful to have been a part of such a special day! This about wraps up our book tour for Watchmen for Morning as we shift gears to focus on the release of Folded: The Forging of an Adoptive Family! Stay tuned for our very special release event coming up on Saturday, November 22nd, called "A Night for the Necessary Ones." :) Exciting stuff is happening!!!

Interview on KMEG 14's Morning News
Jennifer Pitkin, author of Watchmen for Morning, joined host Jacob Heller on KMEG Channel 14 for this morning's news. She discussed her book, inspiration for writing, and the upcoming Author Meet and Greet event at the Book People, located on Hamilton Blvd, Northside Sioux City. The event will be this Saturday, April 5th, from 1-3pm. Come and join the author for a chance to visit about the very real issues of modern-day organized crime and human trafficking, look at her items from Ethiopia and Italy, and get a signed paperback! WFM Book Signing in Cherokee, IA
On Saturday, November 9th, I had the great privilege of journeying back to my hometown of little ol' Cherokee, Iowa, to participate in a fair, where I was able to meet with readers and sign paperback copies of my book. We had another great turn out, and sold out once again of paperbacks! (My book is available as an eBook - which you should seriously check out, as eBooks never run out no matter how many turn out at an event! :) Click here to visit that page!)
I had a very special helper with me that day: my "sales assistant" Makenna (aka, my daughter) :)
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the book on Saturday! Much gratitude and respect ~ J.M.P. :)

Paperback Release, Book Signing and Celebration!
EXCITING STUFF, folks! My paperback is now available exclusively through Lulu.com - click here to visit my author spotlight page, where you will see the paperback version and the online ordering information!
We had such a lovely, wonderful turn out of for the book signing and release party at the Indigo Palette, Downtown Sioux City! All the paperbacks sold out, and the large crowd was amazing! I am incredibly humbled by everyone's love, support and encouragement for me and this endeavor. Seriously, guys - this wouldn't be possible without you. I love the story and the characters, so I'm hoping you do, too! Beyond blessed... it's hard to have the words to describe it, so you know it must be deeply meaningful if you can catch a writer without words!
Missed our book signing and release party? That's ok :) Click here for the link to my official facebook page's photo album of the event at Indigo Palette!
I gave a little speech behind the meaning of the title of the book. Click here to view it on YouTube! (It's only about 11 1/2 minutes, and sorry Author Laura Gibson - part of your introduction got cut off :( )
Have you gotten your copy of my book yet? It's available as an eBook as well as a paperback!
With the deepest love, gratitude and respect ~ J.M.P. :)
